Little Miami Farms is made up of two farms totaling 75 acres, located near the Little Miami River in the township of Spring Valley, Ohio. We have been farming traditional crops on this land since 2002, including corn, soybeans and hay. After researching alternative specialty crops that would meet local market needs, we expanded into growing hops in 2014. Although we no longer grow hops for commercial use, our experience in doing so led us to new opportunities for growing other types of specialty products.
We now annually grow and offer a wide variety of seasonal produce, herbs, microgreens, pumpkins and winter squash as well as garden seedlings, patio plants, perennials, fresh-cut flowers, spring hanging petunia baskets, autumn mums and natural décor, including wreaths, greenery and branches, cattails and pussy willows.
Using high tunnels, we can extend our growing season to offer a variety of produce from early spring to late fall. Our in season chart lists what we grow and when it is available. We will also grow specific produce items upon request for your commercial business. Please contact us to discuss – we are eager to be of service to you!
We also offer custom seed cleaning services throughout the year for wheat, cereal rye, barley, triticale and popcorn. Our facility handles orders from 5 to 5,000 bushels. We also offer barley straw to promote pond health. Contact us for more information and pricing.
