Our Farm

Little Miami Farms is made up of two farms totaling 75 acres, located near the Little Miami River in the township of Spring Valley, Ohio.  We have been doing traditional farming on this land since 2002, including corn, soybeans and hay.  After researching alternative specialty crops that would meet local market needs, we expanded to growing hops in 2014.

We now also annually grow and offer over 145 varieties of produce, herbs, microgreens, pumpkins and winter squash as well as fresh-cut flowers, spring hanging petunia baskets, fall mums and asters, and natural décor, including hop bine and wild grape vine wreaths, greenery and branches, cattails and pussy willows.

IMG_3184Using high tunnels, we can extend our growing season to offer a variety of produce from early spring to late fall.  Our in season chart lists what we grow and when it is available.  We will also grow specific produce items upon request for your commercial business.  Please contact us to discuss – we are eager to be of service to you!

We offer seed cleaning services throughout the year for wheat, barley, field corn and heirloom corn.  Our seed cleaning facility handles orders from 5 to 5,000 bushels.  We also offer barley straw to promote pond health.

Our hop yard features the following varieties of hops.  Check out our Hoperations page for more details!

  • Cascade
  • Chinook
  • Crystal
  • Nugget
